MindSpot GP is a free, digital psychology service connecting Australian adults with high quality psychological assessment and treatment. MindSpot GP is a specialist arm of MindSpot, which accepts referrals from GPs and health professionals from across Australia.
Similar to MindSpot, MindSpot GP is funded by the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC). However, for patients referred by a GP in Western Australia (WA) and are experiencing hardship, additional funding is provided by the Western Australian Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), which allows MindSpot GP to provide additional services such as face-to-face sessions and peer support.
Through MindSpot GP's referral pathway, patients can access free, confidential online and telephone-based assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, substance use, and coping with chronic pain and chronic health conditions.
MindSpot GP is supported by an experienced team of qualified psychologist, mental health workers and researchers. Our goal is to ensure that all Australian adults, in every part of the country, can access the support they need, when and where they need it.
All our assessment and treatments have been clinically-validated at Macquarie University's eCentreClinic, and are therapist guided.
