Meet the OCD Course

Our OCD Course is an eight-week online psychological program designed to help you understand OCD and manage its symptoms. This practical, evidence-based treatment is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is backed by extensive research. With the option for personalised therapist support and a self-paced format, it’s ideal for those who face barriers like time, cost, or access to face-to-face services.

Is this for you?

Finding specialised OCD support isn’t easy, but MindSpot’s online course offers a flexible, affordable way to learn evidence-based strategies for managing symptoms —all from the comfort of your own home, on your own schedule. 

The OCD Course is recommended for people who:

Are 18 years of age or older.

Are Australian residents.

Have symptoms of OCD. 

Have at least four hours a week to spend working on the course and practising the skills.

The OCD Course is NOT suitable for people who:

Are currently suicidal - Get urgent help

Are not Australian residents

If you have very severe symptoms we strongly recommend that you see a GP and a psychologist and/or psychiatrist for assessment and treatment. 

We recommend discussing this course with your GP or other health professionals to ensure it's the right fit for you. Your GP can provide guidance and help you make an informed decision. You can also begin by completing our online assessment, which offers insights to support your conversation with them.

How to recognise the cycle of symptoms involved in OCD 

How to recognise and manage unhelpful thoughts and beliefs 

How to overcome compulsions 

How to gain confidence by learning to safely confront things you have been avoiding 

How to stay well once the course has finished 

Each lesson includes practical exercises designed to help you apply these skills to real-life situations, empowering you to manage your OCD symptoms. You’ll also hear real-life stories from others with OCD, providing their insights and experiences of what has worked for them.  

The course is designed to fit into your schedule, requiring around 4 hours per week. All content is accessible online so you can work through it at your own pace.
