To make sure you can access support as quickly as possible, Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney (H2HS) has directed you here to MindSpot. We are a digital psychology clinic and we’ve partnered with H2HS to offer our free assessment and treatment services in the meantime. Accessing our services while you wait won’t affect your ability to access H2HS, but you may also find that our treatment options are enough.
MindSpot is a national, free digital psychology clinic that provides assessment and treatment to over 30,000 Australians every year.
We provide online and telephone-based treatment options that teach people proven, practical skills to help them overcome different mental health symptoms, including anxiety and depression.
We’re really glad you’re here. You’ve already taken the first step in reaching out for support, and we know how daunting that can be. H2HS feels our services can help you. MindSpot’s team of therapists are ready to support you every step of the way.
H2HS has recommended you complete a MindSpot assessment. This will only take 20 to 30 minutes, and it helps us understand how you’re feeling and how to best support you.
One of our experienced therapists can chat to you about your assessment results and your different treatment options.
If you decide a MindSpot treatment is right for you, we’ll get you started, and you’ll have your own MindSpot therapist on hand to support you throughout treatment. If it turns out treatment at MindSpot isn’t suitable for you, we’ll be able to recommend other services that can help.
H2HS and MindSpot are working together to connect more people with the support they’re looking for, when they need it. As part of the MindSpot assessment, we will ask you some more questions. We know you’ve already answered questions with H2HS, and we understand that it might feel repetitive to provide these answers again, but this confidential personal data isn’t shared between the services.
MindSpot’s assessment is also an essential part of our service. It has been especially designed to let us know how to best help you, and what MindSpot treatment is most suitable for you. We’ve kept the assessment as brief as we can, and many people say they find the questions helpful for understanding how they’re feeling. It also helps prepare them to have a discussion with a therapist about treatment options.
Your assessment results are accessible straight away, and you’ll have the option to immediately book a phone call with one of our therapists.
Here at MindSpot, we understand that everyone is unique, and their needs are different. That’s why our treatments are flexible and you can choose the level of support that is right for you. Right across your treatment journey, a MindSpot therapist will be on hand to support you. You can reach out to your therapist regularly and book a one-on-one call, or you can simply get in touch with them when and as you need some extra guidance. Our treatments are proven to work – and over 95% of people who use our service say they would recommend us to a friend.
